Reflection
In this task I created an infographic about functions families. The main idea was simple. The rate of change indicates the family of the function. I used libreoffice draw software to make this. I did not want to use canva as I was not allowed to pre-made templates for this task. I thought I could be more free and less influenced by outside materials. I took the icons from lucide.dev website which is community driven, open source icon sharing website. I took the icons that could represent the phenomena that functions families are. A faucet filling a water case at constant rate is a linear function. Throwing an apple will give a quadratic function with its height and time passed. Growth of the bacteria colony is exponential.
I think I could also explain the examples I gave in the text. The icons may seem vague but I decided keeping the text short. If I do the task now, I would find a way to add more context. Also, it was kinda difficult for me to pick colors. I go with pastel colors for the information boxes. Then I added some dark color.
