Reflection
In this assignment, I used ADDIE framework to make a lesson plan for a geometry lesson. I picked a topic that related to triangles. I mainly picked a geometry topic because I thought that implementing the technology with geogebra would be a lot more easy comparing to some other topics. I made a group activity, created some geogebra activities and questions by myself. I took help from gemini AI to create the geogebra activity since I was inexperienced with the platform. I followed some instructions to get slider working. I also picked some geogebra activities that is made by other people. I found a video from khanacademy. I initially wanted to include my interactive video as it had the same topic but I could not prepared before the deadline.
I think I could polish the activities more to fit in my lesson plan more. Nonetheless, it seemed decent to me. I used libreoffice impress which is open source powerpoint. I wanted to prepare a minimalist presentation but I had doubts in terms of readability. So, I took help from AI. I adjusted fonts, text and background colors to finalize my presentation.
I enjoyed preparing this assignment. I made lesson plans before but I did not use such a framework so, it was good experience for me.
